FESTIVAL

This will be our 10th Annual CommUNITY Film Fest!  This year's festival will be at the Maumee Indoor Theatre in Maumee, OH, Sunday, August 18th, 2024 at 1 p.m.  Join us on the red carpet, watch selected entries on the big screen, and stay for the awards ceremony at the end of the event! As always, the festival is FREE to attend!
 

ENTRIES

We are looking for entries that highlight how YOU contribute to your community.  This might be your family, school, work, neighborhood, faith community or wherever you belong.  Create and submit your best (limit one) short video, maximum of 5 minutes, using a smart phone, camera, app, or other video device. Work with friends and family to create art!
 

HOW TO ENTER

If you want to be part of this fun and challenging event, please fill out the official entry form and send via email to Lori Balogh, Lucas DD Community Inclusion & Employment Manager.  The deadline to submit your movie is May 31st, 2024 at 5 PM.

HOW TO WIN

All films submitted will be viewed by a pre-screening panel composed of CommUNITY Film Festival Committee members. Films that meet all the requirements will be forwarded to a panel of judges, who will watch the films and select winners in the following categories: Inspiring Audiences, Promoting Inclusion, Challenging Assumptions, Celebrating Community, Everyday Lives, Most Creative, and Best of the Fest.
